You signed up for the gym months ago. Maybe you have a busy schedule. Maybe you’re just embarrassed that the other meatheads will make fun of you. But when it comes to your workout routine, signing up for the membership is all you’ve completed. You know what? I don’t blame you.
Making it to the gym every day can be tough to fit into your busy schedule. Especially if you’re just starting out and seeing little to no gains because you have 0 knowledge of what you’re doing. Plus, if you have a limited income, a gym membership may not be in the budget right now. What you need is an alternative to the gym that can save you money or simply prep you for the day you finally decide to start going.
Enter the 3000 challenge.
At the month’s start, you will set a goal of completing by month’s end the following:
- 3000 pushups
- 3000 situps
3000 over the span of a whole month, sounds easy right? Just keep in mind soreness for beginners and we definitely don’t recommend procrastinating till the last week. Pro Tip: Try different push up and sit up variations to maximize results.
Don’t expect to become a stunt double for the Hulk using this routine, but at the very least you should develop a solid base and develop a habit of exercising during your busy routine.
Your diet starts today, so give it a try and let us know how it worked for you.
