A weekly review of yinz Pittsburgh Steelers:

I told myself I wouldn’t let this happen. I told myself this time would be different. I told myself no matter what, I will not blindly fall head over heels again. Sound familiar? No, this isn’t a rom-com or Becky’s latest dating escapade with her on and off boyfriend for the last 3 years. This is the story of my love for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Here’s the thing, I’ll always root for the Steelers, its just in my blood and I wouldn’t have it any other way. But there is a big, big difference between just rooting for your team and being all the way in. After the first 4 weeks of this season, I had lost hope and to be honest I was ok with that. We had an easy way out, our starting quarterback was hurt, we weren’t supposed to have a good year. So it was at that point that I told myself, this year is a wash, whatever happens, happens and I’ll be good with that, truthfully. Fast forward 4 more weeks and we have a winning record. We actually beat the Rams, you know the NFC representative in the Super Bowl last year Rams. Given they are having a down year and are a shadow of last season’s team, but that is neither here nor there. By the great beard of Zeus we have won our last 4 games and currently hold the tie breaker for the final playoff spot. To make matters even worse, our upcoming schedule is extremely favorable, as I wrote about last week.

So if were gonna do this, were gonna do this. Were gonna go all in. I can’t half ass anything, especially my love/hate relationship for the Ler’s. In other words, MAMA AIN’T RAISE NO BITCH! Alert the media, hide yo kids, hide yo wife because I am ready to have my heart broken! I hope everyone will join me as I prepare for the most stressful, anxiety-ridden final 2 months of the NFL season only to be ultimately let down. But hey, that’s showbiz baby.
