There’s nothing like a strong cocktail at the end of a long stressful week at work to decompress. Sure a few light beers at happy hour could do the trick, but why not treat yourself to some top shelf liquor. Want to take it a step further? Order something from the list below and really burn through that paycheck.
5. Diva Vodka – $1 Million
Tonight, we’re holding off on the American made Tito’s in favor of the first vodka on our list, the Scottish made Diva Vodka. What makes this Vodka so expensive? First, they triple distill it through precious gemstones including diamonds, rubies, and emeralds. Then it is filtered 7 times to give a smooth and pure taste. To class it up, each bottle holds a hand made wand containing Swarovski Crystals of a variety of colors including Capri Blue, Sapphire, Emerald, Peridot, and Fuscia. If the crystals weren’t enough, each bottle is wrapped with a bracelet that can be removed and worn for any fancy affair. If the vodka doesn’t taste good then just use the bottle to decorate your home.
4. Russo-Baltique Vodka – $1.35 Million
Not a fan of Swarovski? Then let’s move on to the next vodka on our list, the Russian made Russo Baltique Vodka. The Russians know more about Vodka than anyone else, but can they really charge $1.35 Million per bottle? In this case, it’s all about the bottle. This vodka is served in a flask that replicates the radiator guards used for the Russo Baltique cars, sourced from melted down gold coins minted between 1908 – 1912 (when the company’s first cars were manufactured). To top it off, the flask cap is made from white and yellow gold and includes a diamond encrusted replica of the Russian Imperial Eagle. It’s also housed in bulletproof glass so don’t worry about dropping it butterfingers (you know who you are).
3. Henri IV Dudognon Heritage Cognac Grande Champagne – $2 Million
This cognac, having been aged for 100 years, is considered to be among the rarest liquors in the world. Of course, rarity alone does not earn a $2 Million price tag. That comes from the bottle made from 24 carat gold and sterling platinum, and covered in 6,500 diamonds. Holding a bottle of King Henry IV is the closest you’ll ever get to actually being a King.
2. Tequila Ley .925 – $3.5 Million
Tequila shots can either make or break your night, but when it comes to Tequila Ley .925, it can have you feeling like Mexican royalty. This tequila (aged for 7 years) is served in a bottle made of platinum and 4,100 perfectly white diamonds. Order shots of this if you can afford it, just make sure you tell the bartender to hold the limes.
1. Billionaire Vodka – $3.7 Million
It’s no surprise that a vodka named “Billionaire Vodka” is listed as the most expensive liquor in the world. For a $3.7 Million price tag, you get what they consider to be the purest and softest vodka. This vodka is produced from a Russian recipe where it is distilled from pure wheat and crystal clear water and of course filtered over millions of dollars worth of diamonds. As we’ve seen from the other contenders in our list, the liquor is the least interesting part. If it wants to be called “Billionaire”, it needs to dress the part, and that it does. Each bottle is studded with 3000 diamonds and covered in white faux fur in an attempt to look like Russian fur hats.
Haters will say “that’s too much to spend on alcohol” or “you have an addiction” or “please we love you think about the kids”, but don’t let their cries stop you from spoiling yourself this next happy hour. Cheers to the most expensive hangover you’ve ever had!
