One of the most satisfying guilty pleasures in the world is biting into a nice juicy burger. Possibly the most versatile food, there’s endless options when it comes to toppings, making each burger truly your own creation. At the end of a long week, why settle for some cheap McDonald’s drive thru. Treat yourself to the gourmet burger that’ll brighten up your week, or splurge for one of these burgers considered the most expensive in the world that could quite possibly be the greatest burger of your life.
5. The Rossini – $65
They say what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, but I seriously doubt you’d want to keep your trip to the Burger Bar in Las Vegas a secret. They offer a wide variety of mouthwatering burgers, but the most expensive is the Rossini. This burger features a Wagyu beef patty from Australia topped with sauteed foie gras, shaved black truffles, and served on a onion bun. You may lose all your money at the craps table, but eat a burger like this and you’ll go home a winner.
4. The Grand Burger – $100
The last place you’d expect to find an amazing burger is at an Irish Pub in Florida. Yet here on our list is the Grand Burger made famous by McGuire’s Irish Pub in Destin and Pensacola, Florida. The burger’s patty is made of ground and chargrilled filet mignon and served with a side of caviar, Merlot sauce, and a bottle of Moet Imperial Champagne. Stranger things have come out of Florida, so don’t question it, just enjoy it.
3. Le Burger Extravagant – $295
The name may sound French, but don’t worry, you’ll only have to travel to New York’s Serendipity 3 to enjoy a burger that is just shy of $300. The patty is made of wagyu beef that has been infused with a 10-herb white truffle butter, seasoned with Salish alderwood smoked sea salt, and topped with 18-month cave aged cheddar, shaved black truffles, and a fried quail egg. Of course, you can’t serve a patty like this on any old burger buns. Each patty is served on a roll that includes white truffle spread, and topped with a blini topped with kaluga caviar and creme fraiche. To keep this all together, the burger is speared with a solid gold, diamond encrusted toothpick. Don’t expect to order this for some sudden cravings. Each order must be made 48 hours in advance.
2. 777 Burger – $777
Everyone knows the only way to enjoy Vegas is if you pretend to live like a high roller, even if it’s only for the weekend. That’s exactly what you’ll have to do when you go to Le Burger Brasserie located in Caeser’s Palace. The 777 burger includes a kobe beef patty that is topped with pancetta, goat cheese, seared foie gras, arugula, Maine lobster, and 100 year aged balsamic vinegar. Don’t flinch, for the $777 you’ll be paying, you also get a side salad and a bottle of Dom Perignon Champagne.
1. Fleurburger 5000 – $5,000
Obviously, competition is intense for the burger market in Las Vegas, but the one burger that far outshines the other burgers in regards to price is the Fleurburger served at restaurant Fleur located in the Mandalay Bay Casino. The patty is made of wagyu beef and topped with foie gras and truffle. This sounds exactly like some of the other burgers on our list and can’t at all justify a $5,000 price point. That is of course until you pair it with a bottle of 1995 Chateau Petrus, one of the world’s most prized wines. Next time you head to Vegas, don’t wast your time at the slot machines, just burn your paycheck on some burgers. That’s a gamble you are sure to win.
