In case you missed it, Cardi B & Megan Thee Stallion put out their smash hit “Wap” over the weekend and broke the internet all over again. I mean the song has been out for 4 days and already has 72 millions views, which by my calculations means they’re on pace for a metric shit ton. Now, I’m not sure if I can legally or morally say this but for the sake of everyone being on the same page, go and watch the video (only if you are over 18 and let me also add that it’s *NSFW, even though it was made by 2 women…but you get the point).
The song isn’t exactly my cup of tea, but I can certainly understand why it would ruffle some feathers, and ruffle some feathers it sure did! The internet went crazy when this came out, which of course means people need to get angry. People got BIG mad at this song and the so called example that it is setting for the younger generation.
Take this guy for example:
Now credit where credit is due, he surpisingly spelled Meg’s name right with 2 e’s, that leads me to believe he’s pretty familair with her. Also, he made sure to let it be known that he heard it ‘accidentally’. Now the song is over 4 minutes long, so I’m not sure who tied him up and forced him to listen to this song, but they could have at least showed him the video too. This guys needs new friends. However, Mr. Bradley made sure to follow up his tweet with this afterthought.
Just an incredible save!!
Or you could take this guy, who I’m 90% sure is using a fake name.
Apparently, he’s the worlds greatest director and drops more names than a Nick Cannon diss track. Trust me, this guy is not a prude, just take a look at his credentials. He’s directed for many rappers, even a few that sing (brag) about committing crimes, but a girl better not shake her ass or he will be disgusted. I’m not condoning the song, but some people need to get off their high horse and realize the hypocrisy. But anyways, go watch the video (proceed with caution) and remember, don’t argue with strangers online, its not worth your time.
