Who’s your daddy?
It’s alright you don’t have to answer that question, it’s rhetorical. Unless your name is the Cleveland Browns and more specifically, Baker Mayfield. If that’s the case, the answer is unequivocally: Benjamin Roethlisberger. Yes, Big Ben is a father of 3, but I’ll bet my alleged son you didn’t know you had over 53 other sons. The entire Cleveland Browns organization is owned by Big Ben and it’s really not even close.
Just think about this for a second, Big Ben has the most wins ever in Cleveland’s stadium….yes, you read that right. This past Sunday was just another display of utter dominance. The Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Cleveland Browns 38-7 over the weekend and boy oh boy was it a doozy. I’m talking a good ole’ fashioned ass whooping. I mean they took them out back and beat them worse than a red headed step child.
Look, I could go on and on and on about the Brownies and how every year they swear its their year and then the Ler’s shove a giant steel foot up their ass, but this isn’t about them. Though it does bring me a great deal of joy to see their misery. This is about the team on the other side of the ball and what they have been doing all season, namely WINNING! That’s right, the Stee’s are 5-0 and football is so back in the city of Pittsburgh.
You know the last time we started 5-0…1978, now I’m not saying, I’m just saying. Things seem to be clicking on all cylinders and I can’t lie it is exciting. Now of course, things are far from perfect. The Devin Bush injury puts a big damper on the day, that one is going to hurt and hurt a lot. We are noticeably thin at inside line backer, so time will tell how they handle this struggle. But every great team must overcome adversity, so it’s only right.
This upcoming Sunday will be a great test, as we face-off with the undefeated Tennessee Titans. The Titans are the real deal and they’ve proven themselves multiple times this year. I’ll be honest the Stee’s have not faced much of a challenge to this point, so this week should serve as a good barometer for where we stand as far as the league’s elites are concerned. Derrick Henry is a mammoth of a human being and we will need to put the clamps on him to have any hopes of being victorious. But no better time than the present, so get that arm warmed up because were gonna be waving those terrrrble towels all day long! Go Damn Stee’s!
